REVERSIBLE CABLE KNIT SCARF

Okay, this is not a quilt! But since I don't have a yarn blog, I am posting my latest project here.

I have always been looking for a truly reversible knitted cable stitch, and I finally found one here.

For this scarf, I used two 3.5 oz. skeins of Lion Brand Yarns Landscapes, in the colorway Volcano, which I purchased at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts Store.

I cast on 46 stitches, and worked it using size 8 and 10 knitting needles. I started out with 6 rows of garter stitch (knit every row), with 4 stitches of garter at the sides, then ended the final border with 6 rows of garter stitch. The center 38 stitches are filled with the cable pattern.

I am so happy that I found this pattern, and I will be giving it as a gift soon. I hope my friend likes it!
